1. No purchase necessary to enter. The Sweepstakes is open to Wisconsin residents. There is no minimum age for participation however winners younger than 18 years of age must be accompanied by and have prizes redeemed by a parent or legal guardian. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. One winner per household.
2. Employees, and immediate family members (dependents under IRS rules), contractors, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies of Journal Communications, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Milwaukee Ballet all sponsors associated with the Sweepstakes are not eligible.
3. How to enter: Complete the official entry form found in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel or at www.JSOnline.com/nutcracker. Once completed mail to: Nutcracker Sweepstakes; c/o The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Marketing Department; PO Box 661; Milwaukee, WI 53201-0661. No purchase Necessary. Alternate Form of Entry: Mail a 3x5 card to: “Nutcracker” Sweepstakes; c/o The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Marketing Department; PO Box 661; Milwaukee, WI 53201-0661. Entries must be received by Friday, December 11, 2009. Winners will be drawn at random by Sweepstakes officials on or around Monday, December 14, 2009. Entries will not be returned.
4. Prizes: One (1) grand-prize winner will receive 25 tickets to The Nutcracker matinee performance on Saturday, December 26, 2009. Additionally, the winner will have the opportunity to participate in a non-dancing, walk-on role during the Saturday, December 26, 2009 matinee performance of the Nutcracker. In order to participate in the walk-on role, winner must be available for a costume fitting and several rehearsals as a condition of acceptance of this prize. Winner must also meet several minimum physical requirements. Sweepstakes commissioners may wave this portion of the prize completely at their discretion. Approximate grand prize package total value $1250. Five (5) second-place winners will receive four (4) tickets to The Nutcracker performance on Thursday December 17. Approximate value $192. All winners will be notified, by phone, on or around Monday, December 14.
5. Winners are responsible for all taxes and liabilities associated with each prize. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Journal Communications, Milwaukee Ballet and all sponsors associated with the Sweepstakes reserve the right to require any forms for eligibility and/or tax purposes within 14 days of notification. Noncompliance within 14 days may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Sweepstakes entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official Rules and by the decisions of the Sweepstakes commissioners at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which are final on all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes.
6. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected or any entries that lack sufficient postage; or any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. The Sweepstakes can be canceled, terminated, modified or suspended at any time for any reason by the aforementioned company.
7. Entrants agree to release The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Milwaukee Ballet and all sponsors associated with the Sweepstakes from any and all liability resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or use of any prize won. Entrants further consent to release to the aforementioned companies the use of each winner's proper name, city, and state for purposes of advertising any other media or trade in connection with the Sweepstakes without further compensation. The aforementioned companies further reserve the right to use any and all information related to the Sweepstakes, including information on entrants obtained through the Sweepstakes, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
