NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
 
1.PROMOTION DATES
 
a.These rules (the “Official Rules”) govern the Big League Wedding (“Promotion”) will begin on April 20, 2014 and end on October 7, 2014.
 
2.ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
 
a.The Promotion is open to all legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who live in  the state of Wisconsin. Employees of Journal Broadcast Group, Inc., d/b/a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (the “Promoter”), its corporate parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, and the members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings or children) or households (whether related or not) are ineligible to participate or win.  This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Void outside the United States, in NY, and where prohibited.  
 
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Promoter contest. Individuals may only win a Promoter contest or promotion once every 60 days, including all contests or promotions conducted by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. 
 
c.Entrants are required to provide truthful information and Promoter will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent.  Promoter will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and Promoter will also delete any entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and as otherwise required by law.
 
3.ENTRY
 
a.To participate in the Promotion, you may enter via the following methods:
 
VIA INTERNET – Beginning on April 20, 2014 at 12:00am Central Time (“CT”) and ending on September 7, 2014 at 11:59pm CT, visit jsonline.com/bigleaguewedding and follow the links and instructions to enter and submit your first name and last name, significant other’s first and last name, your complete address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, date of birth, and a valid email address in the online entry form.  Entrant must submit an essay of no more than 500 words stating why he/she and their significant other would like to get married (or renew their vows) at Miller Park (“Essay”).  Entrants must also upload an original photo of him/herself with their significant other (“Photo Submission”).  Photo Submissions must be under 5 MB and also must be in .jpg format.  Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.  The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning the email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address.  Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address.  Entries submitted will not be acknowledged or returned.  Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited.  Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Promoter. The contest administrator’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Promotion.  For purpose of this Promotion, a “Day” shall begin at 12:00:00 a.m. CT and shall end at 11:59:59 p.m. CT.  
 
VIA IN-STORE – To enter in-store, visit a Robert Haack Diamonds location (7530 W. Layton Ave. Greenfield, Wisconsin OR 6969 N. Port Washington Rd. Glendale, Wisconsin) during regular business hours beginning on April 20, 2014 and ending on September 8, 2014.  Entrants must also submit an Essay and Photo Submission to be eligible to win.  In-store entries must include entrant's name, significant other’s name, entrant’s address, phone, and email.  Essays must be typed and Photo Submission must be printed out.  All in-store entry materials must be submitted in a sealed envelope (not provided) in the dedicated collection box in-store.
 
Essays must be the original creative work of the entrant and must not contain any copyrighted materials or any other materials which may be restricted, prohibited, or outlawed by federal, state, or local laws. Any Essay found to contain copyrighted materials will be disqualified. All Essays and their content become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned. The Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify, destroy, and/or report any Essay if such entry contains illegal, indecent, pornographic, sexually explicit content, or otherwise offensive material such as aberrational behavior, graphic violence or drug abuse, or if such Essay contains material whose content is deemed at the sole discretion of the Promoter to be unsuitable for public viewing/reading or posting via the Internet. The Essay may not defame or invade publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or proprietary rights including but not limited to copyrights or trademarks. The Promoter reserves the right to edit the Essay. Essays that do not comply with these rules will not be considered and will be disqualified from the Promotion. Any Essay that exceeds 500 words will be truncated by the Promoter to include only the first 500 words.
 
Photo Submissions must be the entrants’ original creative work, and must not be protected by copyright; each entrant must have the right to submit it.  Photo Submissions may not defame or invade publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or proprietary rights including but not limited to copyrights or trademarks.  Photo Submissions must not contain copyrighted materials or any other materials that may be restricted, prohibited or outlawed by federal, state or local laws.  Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any entry if such entry’s associated Photo Submission, or other content contains illegal, indecent, pornographic, sexually explicit content or otherwise offensive material such as aberrational behavior, graphic violence or drug abuse, or if such Photo Submission or other content contains any material whose content is deemed at the sole discretion of the Promoter to be unsuitable for public display or posting on the Promoter’s website. Entries that do not comply with these rules will not be eligible for the Promotion.
 
Entrant must have the permission to post the Essay and Photo Submission from their significant other.  Only (1) entry per couple is permitted throughout the Promotion.  Entrant and his/her respective significant other must have a serious intention to become married prior to participation in the Promotion.  Both individuals must be legally able to become married and must be in compliance with all applicable marriage laws of the state in which they reside.  Promotion is also open to individuals wanting to renew their vows.  
 
Winner and significant other MUST possess valid state-issued photo identification and sign and return all required releases in order to receive a Qualifying and/or Grand Prize.   
 
 
4.PRIZES
 
a.Up to twenty (20) Qualifying Prizes will be awarded.  Each Qualifying Prize consists of a two hundred dollar ($200) gift certificate to Robert Haack Diamonds.  The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Qualifying Prize is $200.  The gift certificate will be subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by the issuer of the gift certificate.  Gift certificates are not refundable or transferable, and may not be substituted or exchanged for cash or credit at any time, nor will gift certificates be replaced if lost or stolen.
 
b.One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded.  The Grand Prize is a “Robert Haack Diamonds Big League Wedding” for up to one hundred fifty (150) guests.  The Grand Prize consists of:
 
A Ceremony that will take place on the field warning track behind home plate at approximately 5:00pm CT
Seating for immediate family members on the warning track (approx. 20 guests )
Seating for other guests in the Field Level seats behind home plate
Microphone/speakers for officiate and iPod connectivity for music 
A Bridal suite for two (2) hours prior to ceremony time 
Two hundred (200) Custom Miller Park “Save-the-Date” Tickets 
The Famous Racing Sausages™ participating in the wedding by being a part of the bridal party.
The Milwaukee professional baseball team’s mascot, Bernie Brewer™, as the Ring Bearer 
One (1) hour photo op after the ceremony for the entire wedding party in the dugout, bullpen, seats, warning track, and visitor’s                   clubhouse (pending availability)
A Wedding Reception in the Johnson Controls Stadium Club from 5:30p.m. CT to 12:00a.m. CT
Catering credit for up to $14,000 with Miller Park Catering provider to be applied towards dinner, bar, and cake service; full menu               options and guidance will be provided by Catering Manager after winner is selected
Table linens (couple to choose colors from available selections)

ARV of the Grand Prize is $25,800.00. All arrangement s must be made through the Promoter or its designee.  The winning couple must choose a day to have the ceremony at Miller Park between April 2015 and August 2015. The Milwaukee professional baseball team must not be playing at Miller Park on the day of the ceremony.  The date of the ceremony at Miller Park must be mutually agreed upon between the Grand Prize winning couple and the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club (MBBC).  The date the winning couple chooses for their wedding is subject to approval by MBBC.   If the date the couple chooses for their wedding ceremony at Miller Park is a Saturday, MBBC cannot confirm the availability of that wedding date until six (6) months prior to that selected date.  The winning couple will be required to sign an Event Rental Agreement with MBBC in order to confirm a date and arrangements.
 
If the Grand Prize winning couple would like to invite more than one hundred fifty (150) guests, the Grand Prize winning couple will be liable for all additional catering,  set-up and/or rental fees for the additional guests.  Only up to one hundred fifty (150) guests are covered in this prize; consequently, if a Grand Prize winning couple has less than one hundred fifty (150) guests, they will not be reimbursed the catering costs or set-up fees for the amount of guests under one hundred fifty (150).  The maximum amount of additional guests a Grand Prize winning couple can have at the ceremony with out-of-pocket costs is fifty (50); totaling up to two hundred (200) guests at the ceremony.
 
b.All prizes are awarded as-is.  There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Promoter may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Promoter is not responsible for winners' limitations that prevent acceptance, use, or nonuse of prize.  Entrants acknowledge that the Released Parties, as defined herein, have not made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranties, representations or guarantees, and hereby disclaim any and all warranties expressed or implied, in fact or in law, whether now or hereafter enacted concerning any prize, including without limitation, implied warranties of quality, merchantability, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular purpose, except for any express manufacturer’s warranty as may be included with the prize or as may be separately provided to participants by law.  Other restrictions may apply.
c.Any prize certificates or coupons are subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by the issuer of the certificate or coupon.  Such certificates and coupons are not refundable or transferable, and may not be substituted or exchanged for cash or credit at any time, nor will such certificates or coupons be replaced if unused, lost, stolen, or damaged.  
 
5.WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
 
a.All decisions of Promoter management with respect to the Promotion are final.
 
b.Each Wednesday during the Promotion, the Promoter will select one (1) Qualifying Prize winning couple from all entries received by 11:59pm CT on the previous Sunday.  Up to a total of twenty (20) Qualifying Prize winning couples will be selected in the Promotion (one (1) per week).  Qualifying Prize winning couples will be selected based on the following judging criteria: (i) the originality and creativity of the Essay; (ii) how compelling the couple’s reason is for wanting to get married or renew their vows at Miller Park.  The potential Qualifying Prize winning couple will be contacted by the Promoter at the phone number listed on the entry form by 12:00pm CT on the Wednesday of selection.  If the potential Qualifying Prize winning couple cannot be reached within twenty-four (24) hours of initial notification, that couple will be disqualified and another potential Qualifying Prize winning couple will be selected from all remaining entries using the same judging criteria above.  This process will continue until a couple can be reached within twenty-four (24) hours of initial notification.  Non-selected entries will rollover for subsequent judging periods throughout the Promotion, if any.  
 
c.The Promoter will select one (1) Grand Prize winning couple from among the twenty (20) Qualifying Prize winning couples as follows:  (i) the judgment of a judging committee comprised of Promoter employees, based on the judging criteria mentioned above (which judgment will be weighted 60%) and (ii) the number of votes each couple received during the Voting Period that will begin on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 12:00am CT and end on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 11:59pm CT (which votes will be weighted 40%).  
 
To vote, participants must visit jsonline.com/bigleaguewedding and first complete a registration with their first and last name and email address.  Voters will then be able to select who they believe should win the Grand Prize out of the twenty (20) previously selected Qualifying Prize winning couples.   Only one (1) vote is permitted per twenty-four (24) hour period per person regardless if voter has more than one email address. 
 
All decisions regarding the selection of the winners of the matches are in the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter.  If the Promoter believes voting has been tampered with or abused, the Promoter may at its sole discretion disregard such votes and/or disqualify any winning couple.  The Grand Prize winning couple will be notified by phone by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on or about Tuesday, October 7, 2014.  
 
d.Entrants need not be present to win a Qualifying Prize or Grand Prize.
 
e.Qualifiers must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within two (2) days of notification attempt or Qualifier will be disqualified and the Qualifying Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Qualifying Prize may be chosen via the judging criteria mentioned above.  Grand Prize winning couple must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within ten (10) days of notification attempt or Grand Prize winning couple will be disqualified and the Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Grand Prize winning couple may be chosen via the judging criteria mentioned above.  If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to complete, sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize.
 
g.Unless otherwise specified in the prize notification, all prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Promoter at the address below.  The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within ten (10) days of winning.  Prize or prize certificates will not be mailed to the winner without the winner’s prior written consent in which the winner shall agree to assume its risk of loss.  The Promoter, its sponsor, or promotional partner are not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.  
 
6.CONDITIONS
 
a.Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent including the winner’s full Social Security Number for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by Promoter in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.
 
b.Participating in the Promotion and acceptance of any prize constitutes each entrant’s and winner’s (and guest’s where applicable) permission for the Promoter or its agents to photograph, film, record that entrant, winner ,or guest and to use his or her name, city, state, voice, or likeness, and any statements made by him or her regarding the Promotion or its sponsors for purposes of trade, publicity or promotion without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
 
c.Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, and depending on the nature of the prize and eligibility requirements of the contest, the Promoter in its sole discretion will require verification of Promotion winner’s identification by a showing of valid government-issued photo identification.  By entering, participating and/or accepting a prize in the Promotion, each entrant, winner, and guest if applicable, agrees not to sue and to release, discharge, indemnify,  hold harmless, and absolve the Promoter, its sponsors and promotional partners, its advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives and the successors and assigns of each of them (the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, losses, expenses, costs, damages, and liabilities including, without limitation, interest, penalties, court costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Promotion, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Promotion, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Promotion-related activity, including but not limited to any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.  Promoter may require eligible Promotion winners and their guests or travel companions, if any (as well as each of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s), if winners, guests or travel companions are under the age of majority in their state of residence), to sign a liability release confirming such consent.  Except where prohibited, by entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any Prize (s) shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in Milwaukee, WI; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event shall such costs include attorneys' fees; and (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including, without limitation, lost profits may be awarded (collectively, "Special Damages").  Further, by entering the Promotion, each entrant waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. 
 
d.Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person (and all of their entries) from this Promotion if he or she tampers with the entry process, the operation of the Promotion, or the operation of Promoter’s web channel or is otherwise in violation of the Official Rules or direction of Promoter.  Promoter further reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion, or any part of it, if it is not capable of completion as planned or if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond the Promoter’s control, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion as determined by Promoter in is sole discretion.  Any attempt by an entrant or any person to deliberately damage any Promoter web channel or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws.  Should such an attempt be made, Promoter reserves the right to seek full prosecution and/or damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.  Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision.  If due to circumstances beyond the control of Promoter, any competition or prize-related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, Promoter reserves the right, but not the obligation, to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
 
e.The Released Parties are not responsible for (i) typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Promotion, or in the announcement of a prize; (ii) entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties, malfunctions, disconnections, other technological failures, telephone service outages, delays, dropped calls, or busy signals; or any other difficulties that may prevent an individual from entering or participating, or (iii) lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, misdirected, postage due, illegible, incomplete, incorrect, or late entries.  Further, the Released Parties are not responsible if any part of a promotion prize that cannot be awarded due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disaster, weather, acts of terrorism or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.
 
f.Except where prohibited, by entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any Prize (s) shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event shall such costs include attorneys' fees; and (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including, without limitation, lost profits may be awarded (collectively, "Special Damages").  Further, by entering the Promotion, each entrant waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. 
 
g.To obtain a copy of the Official Rules or a list of winners following completion of the Promotion (please specify which), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope (VT residents may omit return postage) specifying “Official Rules” or “Winner List” to Big League Wedding Promotion Winner List or Official Rules Request, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, 333 W. State Street Milwaukee, WI 53201.  A copy of the Official Rules and a list of winners (when complete) are also available during regular business hours at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, 333 W. State Street Milwaukee, WI 53201.  All such requests must be received within thirty (30) days following completion of the Promotion.
