Welcome       Winners

Welcome to Suburban Selfies Contest!

We here at Community Newspapers and Lake Country Publications would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who participated in our second annual Suburban Selfies contest. To those who clambered over the snowpiles and toughed out the icy winter winds to get in prime selfie snapping position, we salute you.

First-place prize winners received a $200 gift card to a select fine restaurant. Second-place winners received a $100 gift card and the third-place winner received $75. Prizes for the eastern contest were for any of the Bartolotta restaurants. Prizes for the west were for Weissgerbers’ restaurants.

The prizes went to the people who submit the most correct entries. Contestants could submit to both the Lake Country and My Community NOW contest clues, but could only win one of them. Winners in both parts of the contest were determined a random drawing when there was ties.

For those of you who didn't participate, or did but ended up doing a little head scratching, here are the contest riddles and their answers. As a side note, we were lenient in some instances when ambiguous riddles led people to a technically incorrect but nearly identical location to the actual answer. (For instance, a number of people took selfies in front of the Oak Creek War Memorial instead of the Oak Creek Police Department, and we counted those as correct.)
